'''ITV Studios Global Entertainment''' is the international distribution and British home video imprint of [[ITV (UK)|ITV plc]]. It has its roots in [[Carlton Television (UK)|Carlton]] and [[Granada Television (UK)|Granada]]'s 2004 merger into ITV plc. At the time, Carlton had their [[Carlton Home Entertainment (UK)|existing home video unit]], while Granada had a deal with [[Video Collection International (UK)|Video Collection International]]. The merger meant the deal could be revoked and that Granada programs were able to be released through Carlton's unit, which was absorbed into [[Granada Ventures (UK)|Granada Ventures]], therefore allowing all ITV-produced shows on DVD to be branded under one name. In 2006, the company began trading as ITV DVD, which later became ITV Studios Home Entertainment. In 2013, with the wake of ITV's rebranding, the company was merged into the new division ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
