Background: United Artists Associated was renamed from Associated Artists Productions in 1958 by United Artists after A.A.P. was folded into United Artists Television. In 1968, it was renamed as "United Artists Television Distribution".


1st Logo (1959-196?)

Nickname: "The Three Segments"

Logo: Over a leather like background, the logo starts zooming at us. The letters "u.a.a." zoom up, being the right vertical segments of the letters tinted with a darker color. Behind the lettering, the words "UNITED ARTISTS United Artists Associated (1958)ASSOCIATED, INC.".

Trivia: The design has some kind of reminiscence from the A.A.P. logos used on cartoons.

FX/SFX: The logo zooming in on the background.

Music/Sounds: The initial opening theme.

Availability: Extinct. The capture on the right is from an advertising sales reel by the company.
