However, up until August 23, 1997, they were released under the "Disney Channel Premiere Films" label. On October 25, 1997, Disney Channel started producing their own TV movies under the "Disney Channel Original Movies" banner. The first official Disney Channel Original Movie was ''Under Wraps''.
