ITV Studios Global Distribution: Difference between revisions

* Seen at the beginning of ITV home media releases in the United Kingdom.

* On Television, this is normally used to plaster older logos.

** It plasters the [[Anglia Television (UK)|Anglia]] logo on the first two seasons of ''Knightmare'' (seasons 3 and 4 retain the "Anglia Production for ITV" end card) and the [[Central Independent Television (UK)|Central]] logo on various episodes of ''Family Fortunes'' on Challenge (although recent airings have reinstated the Central logo), as well as the 1994 series of ''Blockbusters'' on the same channel.

** As of recent, this plasters the first ITV Studios logo on 2010-2013 episodes of ''The Chase'' when reran on Challenge.

** This variant can be seen plastering the Granada America logo (and possibly others) on Virgin Media One/Two/Three Ireland airings of most made-for-TV movies whenever they air on the network.

** Also seen at the beginning (and sometimes end) of many films from the ITV library, including films from [[The Rank Organisation (UK)|The Rank Organisation]].

** This logo was also seen at the end of ''Hands of the Ripper''.

* This appeared on newer prints of shows, movies and documentaries that were produced by ITV Studios, it's units or other companies like shows produced by it's predecessors [[Granada Television (UK)|Granada]], [[Carlton Television (UK)|Carlton]] and appears on shows that were produced by [[ITC Entertainment Group (UK)|ITC Entertainment]].

** Don't expect it to appear on Britbox prints of the fifth and sixth seasons of ''The Saint'', as they use older prints (1990s-era) with ITC's Golden Top Diamond or no logo at all.

** Strangely, this logo also does not appear on Challenge airings of ''Gladiators'' for unknown reasons.

* It also appeared on ''Murdoch Mysteries'' until 2020, ''Keep it Spotless'' ''Schiit's Creek'' and ''Good Which'' until 2020.

* It appeared on all three seasons of ''Poldark'', the first five seasons of ''Shetland'', the Blu-ray of ''My Left Foot'' and made a surprise appearance on a 2021 episode of ''Love Island South Africa''.

* The black and white variant was mainly used to plaster over logos on shows that were in black and white, like the black and white episodes of ''Upstairs, Downstairs''.
