'''ITV Studios Global Entertainment''' is the international distribution unit of [[ITV Studios (UK)|ITV Studios]]. The name is also used as the trading name for [[Granada Ventures (UK)|ITV Ventures]]' home media unit in the United Kingdom.

The home media unit's roots began with [[Carlton Television (UK)|Carlton]] and [[Granada Television (UK)|Granada]]'s 2004 merger into ITV plc. At the time, Carlton had their [[Granada Ventures (UK)|existing home video unit]], while Granada had a deal with [[Video Collection International (UK)|Video Collection International]]. The merger meant the deal could be revoked and that Granada programs were able to be released through Carlton's unit, which was absorbed into [[Granada Ventures (UK)|Granada Ventures]], therefore allowing all ITV-produced shows on DVD to be branded under one name. In 2006, Granada Ventures began using '''ITV DVD''' as the trading name for the home media division, which later became '''ITV Studios Home Entertainment'''.  

* It has also shown up on DVDs of [[The Rank Organisation (UK)|Rank]] movies, normally re-releases.

*Oddly enough, it doesn't seem to be on the 2004 re-release of ''Thunderbirds: The Complete Series'' that has the logo on the spine, back cover and discs - as the main contents seem to be [[Carlton Visual Entertainment (UK)|a complete rerelease of all the 2000/2004 UK DVD releases by Carlton Video]], so don't expect it to be on that.

* On the last-two seasons of ''Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids'' (titled ''Grizzly Tales'' at this point), the logo is next to the [[Grizzly TV (UK)|Grizzly TV]], [[Honeycomb Animation (UK)|Honeycomb Animation]], Elephant Productions and [[Nicktoons Originals|Nicktoons]] logos.

* The "GLOBAL" variant is very rare. So far, it has only been sighted on [[ITV4 (UK)|ITV4]] airings of ''It's Tommy Cooper'', some ''Dempsey and Makepeace'' episodes, the 2009 TV movie ''Held Hostage'' on Amazon Prime Video, the [[The Criterion Collection|Criterion Collection]] releases of ''The Red Shoes'' and ''Black Narcissius'', a Movie Channel airing of ''Friendly Fire'' (1979), ''The Last Warrior'' on Tubi, and Multicom's print of ''When He Didn't Come Home'' (1998).
