On February 20, 2024, Disney announced that their DVD and Blu-ray output in North America will now be distributed by [[Sony Pictures Home Entertainment]], ending Disney's 45-year run as a first-party home video distributor; as a result, the Disney Movie Club is scheduled to close on May 20, 2024.
