Yle TV1: Difference between revisions

* Dated in September 22, 1986, We see two trees with thin tree branches and a {{Font color|red|red}} wooden house between them on a {{Font color|darkblue|dark blue}} background. The channel logo is placed on the top left corner of the screen.

'''Logo:''' On a black background, six thin transparent plates with different sizes and gradient colors ({{Font color|#FFD900|yellow}}-{{Font color|orange|orange}}, {{Font color|hotpink|hot pink}}-{{Font color|red|red}}, {{Font color|deepskyblue|light}}-{{Font color|darkblue|dark blue}}, {{color|green}}, {{Font color|violet|light violet}} and {{Font color|indigo|indigo}}) gather together from multiple directions, as the camera zooms out and rotates from the side of the structure. As we get a better view, the thin plates connect together with bright flashing seen between each one, forming a large outline of a "'''1'''" as a {{Font color|darkblue|dark blue}} glow appears on the bottom part of the background. The camera then zooms in, while also rotating to another side of the number, as the thin plates start disconnecting with brief flashing seen again between them, and move away from the same direction where they came from, leaving the black background.

* Since January 14, 1990, the channel logo (or TV2's logo at the time but a bit shinier on the bottom) could be spotted on the intro sequence of the public broadcaster's main news program (''TV-uutiset ja sää''). The logo is seen on a {{color|blue}} background with shiny {{color|silver}} stripes before the camera rotates upward and the logo is wiped away. A large ball then rises from the stripes and it starts to pulsate waves in {{Font color|#FFD900|yellow}}, {{Font color|red|red}}, and {{color|green}}. The logo, which is an "Ω" with a box around it (a bit rounder than the previous variant), then briefly fades in on the bottom before a {{color|blue}} wave wipes it into full view. As it wipes into view, the camera zooms out and rotates as the background forms into a news clip and the text "U U T I S E T" wipes in, briefly flat before becoming 3D. The logo then settles onto the bottom center as the ball forms the circle in the logo and the lines disappear. The wave keeps moving until it fades out and the logo settles to the bottom left corner or it fades to the set and the logo flies away.

* After the regular ident is completed, it fades out and a new channel logo designed by Liisa Kallio fades in on the screen. The logo has the appearance of a basic {{Font color|red|red}} square with a stylized thick number "'''1'''" on the right side and "'''T V 1'''" written below the logo. This one was featured between 1993 and early 1998.

* With the regular ident being completed and then fading out, another logo appears on the screen, looking like a modified version of the logo seen in the second variant. The logo is a round-edged, {{Font color|red|red}} square with the right side having a cutout of a thick "'''1'''" like in the previous logo, while "{{Font color|red|'''TV1'''}}" is seen on the bottom right side of the logo. This variant could be spotted between 1998 and 1999.

* Between 1998 and 1999, when the weekend's broadcasting begins with the children program ''Veturi'', the ending of the startup ident features a traditionally animated fat {{Font color|red|red}} bird falling in front of either one of the two aforementioned logo variants. We then follow the yawning bird walking on right off the startup ident, as this transitions to the opening of the children program.

* Between 1999 and 2000, another version of the third variant was used after the children program ''Veturi'' received a new opening sequence. Before the opening, the {{Font color|red|red}} TV1 logo gains {{Font color|red|red}} and white wheels and moves to the left of the screen.

* The closing logo has the logo with solid white fillings situated on the bottom of the screen, with the background being a concrete wall with a small spotlight shining on it (whose position seems to shift). Below the cube is a multicolored gradient line spanning the entire screen, as well as the program name (or none) and "YLE-(year)" or "YLE TV1-(year)" below that. Originally in 1993, the cube rotates around to a specific colored side depending on the program. There were five color variations for the cube sides used: {{color|blue}} (news and current affairs programs), {{color|green}} (documents), {{Font color|#FFD900|yellow}} (educational programs), {{Font color|darkorange|dark orange}} (children's and youth programs) and {{Font color|mediumvioletred|violet}} (fiction-based programs). Since 1994, all closing logo variations ended with the {{Font color|red|red}} logo on the front side of the cube.   

'''Logo:''' We see a rack focused shot of an {{Font color|darkorange|orange}} and white background split in half vertically with a sharp triangle gap pointing to the left on the top, as a {{Font color|red|red}}, tufted curtain (which actually appears to be a wig on a white head) moves through the screen and takes over the {{Font color|darkorange|orange}} side of the background. We then see the same logo from the 7th logo's third variant fading in, while "{{Font color|darkorange|'''TV1'''}}" appears on the bottom right side of the logo.

*A later closing variant used since 1999 had a waving {{Font color|red|red}} background where the transparent logo plays out before fading away. Below, a faded white bar with the YLE TV1 logo at the end of it and the text "(YLE - )TV1" fades in near the bottom of the screen. This would be used until 2007, the official end date of this logo.

* A woman dressed in overalls is climbing down a ladder as the elevator door is closing down. She then presses the top button and the mirror reflection shows {{Font color|red|red}} wallpapers rolling down to the woman's surprise. As the elevator is going up, she turns around in front of the camera to give a smile.

* On a complex background warping effect with {{color|blue}} and {{Font color|pink|pink}} color schemes, we see a blurry half-cropped swan zooming out into its place in the center of the screen and rotating. The color scheme of the background returns to {{color|blue}} and background assets of autumnal trees, some {{Font color|red|red}} fencing and a barn take on solid forms. The text then wipes in below the half-cropped swan.
