Background: United Artists Media Group was an entertainment company founded on September 22, 2014 initially as a partnership of MGM Holdings Inc. (which owned a 55% controlling stake in the venture during the time frame) with television producer Mark Burnett, and his wife, actress and producer Roma Downey. Hearst Corporation also owned a minor stake via its Hearst Entertainment division. On December 14, 2015, MGM acquired the remaining 45% stake, becoming its wholly-owned subsidiary, and it was later folded into MGM Television. As a result, it's now an in-name-only unit of MGM Television known as "UAMG Content, LLC". | |||
