FX Networks: Difference between revisions

* On a few episodes, the logo is stretched.

* There is also a long version.

* On later shows, the zoom-in is in warp speed, and the X has a shadow zoom-in effect. Plus the copyright information is darker and fits to the logo.

* Same as above, but on a {{color|limegreen|green}} background and the searchlights are white and {{color|blue}}. Appears on Season 3 of ''Son of The Beach''.

* On the TV movie ''RFK'', the logo is bigger, zooms in slowly, and doesn't have any effects on the X.

* On the TV movie ''The Pentagon Papers'', "In Association With" is seen below the logo.

* On season 2 episodes of ''The Shield'', the logo is stretched.

* In 2006, tons of X letters were added in the background. Seen on season 2 of ''It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia''.

** An alternate version of this variant exists (same as above, except with the following changes: the animation is modified a bit, the X letters are on a {{color|limegreen|lightgreen}} background, the spinning of the logos is faster [and barely seen] and three FX logos fade out a few seconds later as the background becomes darker, without zoom-out) on shows that premiered post-2006.

* The ending theme of the show is sometimes being used, as seen on ''Starved'' and ''The Shield''.

* Some season 3 episodes of ''It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia'' have the first note cut off.

* On ''Over There'', it's the finishing of the abridged 1997 20th Century Fox theme (which begins on the TCFTV logo before it).  

'''Visuals:''' There is a few copies of the FX logo (this time without the searchlight box) floating and spinning around, and the camera is positioned close to this. There is another shot of this happening. As we only get a glimpse of this, a white 2D FX logo then spins to the center of the screen and faces the viewer on a dark background with a whitish-{{color|blue|bluish}} light shining in the bottom-right corner. We also see shadows of the FX logos floating and spinning in the background as well. Copyright information appears below that reads "© [year] FX Networks, LLC. All Rights Reserved."

* On ''Sons of Anarchy'', the ending theme of the show is used.

* On one European-located audio track of Netflix's print of the season 5 premiere of ''It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'', entitled "The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis", the logo is high-pitched, along with the [[3 Arts Entertainment]], [[RCG]] and [[FXP|FX Productions]] logos.

* On the ''It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia'' episodes "How Mac Got Fat" and "The Gang Recycles Their Trash", it used the 2007 FX Productions logo's music, due to a reverse plaster error.

'''Visuals:''' On a white setting, the screen pans past some vertical beams. As we pan to the front, it is revealed that these beams form the FX logo. The segmented background blinks out.

* Starting with the ''Mayans M.C.'' episode "Pap Struggles with the Death Angel" (2021), the opening variant is now bigger.

* On the ''Atlanta'' episode "Rich Wigga, Poor Wigga", both variants are in black and white to fit with the episode's theme.

* On ''The Bear'' episode "Tomorrow", the logo is tinted in {{Color|blue}}.

* During the FX on [[Hulu Originals|Hulu]] panel in the 2020 Disney Investor Day, the logo was formed after the castle from the [[Walt Disney Pictures|Disney]] logo, created with particles, was dissolved. After the logo was formed, it pans to the left side, as it goes inside, showcasing the various shows the network aired at the time, along with reveals of new shows. After that, it goes outside, showing the FX logo once more, then it zooms out to show the rest of the Disney content, such as [[Disney+ Originals|Disney+]], [[Pixar Animation Studios|Pixar]], [[Marvel Studios|Marvel]], Hulu and more, then it zooms in to the bottom right to show the chairman of FX, John Landgraf, a bit closer to the camera then fades out. At the end of the panel, the camera pans to the right as abstact scenes are projected then it changes color.

* The trailer for the 2024 series ''Shogun'' has the logo surrounded by a block drawn in Japanese ink.
