'''ImageMovers''' was founded as "South Side Amusement Company" in 1984 by Robert Zemeckis. It was rebranded to its current name in 1997. Until 1999, ImageMovers did not use a logo. In 2007, ImageMovers and [[Walt Disney Pictures|Disney]] announced a joint-venture to produce motion-capture animated features named ImageMovers Digital. Their first feature film at that time, ''A Christmas Carol'', was a box office hit, but in March 2010, Disney and ImageMovers announced that IMD would close it's doors by January 2011. It's second and last film, ''Mars Needs Moms'', was a financial failure (in fact, Disney's ''worst'' performing movie to date). In August of that same year, ImageMovers signed a 2-year deal with [[Universal Pictures]].

'''Logo:''' On a black background, a {{color|red}} sphere quickly zooms in, with a building reflected in it. Then two steel pillars come in from beyond, making the sphere between them. More pillars come in various angles, pass over and place themselves like a staircase, where there are four steps referred as "IM", and a polygon block below, resembling the letter "D". The sphere appears to be above "D". The name "{{color|gray|IMAGEMOVERSDIGITAL}}" (in the same font as the regular ImageMovers logo) fades in.
