After forming [[Jim Henson Pictures]], the company began releasing their videos through [[Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment]], before moving to [[HIT Entertainment]] following the Henson family's repurchase of the Jim Henson Company from [[EM.TV & Merchandising AG|EM.TV & Merchandising]]. Around 2009 or 2010, the Jim Henson Home Entertainment name was quietly retired, due to the company now simply crediting itself on later home video releases.
