{{Request|PM pinter|Now, this is a possibility I have tinkered with for a long, long time - about seven months ago was when I first thought of applying for this position, but I quickly threw it out, due to me not considering myself active or ready enough for the duties being an administrator comes with. Seven months have passed, and only now, roughly a month after the original Board left and came new bureaucrats (not elaborating more), do I think I'm confident enough to apply.
I admire the direction the Database is heading in right now, and I'd love to contribute more to it, to really be involved in its ecosystem. I'm also available in the European afternoon timeslot - I live in Hungary -, which is when it's still the morning in America, while it's already night in Australia (talking to you, Hb and Hibiscus, no offense). I'm not saying THAT is the strongest reaaon for my application, but it's pretty obvious. {{Request|Compooper|Hello, I'm Compooper, formerly known as IfYouDareThenPizzaIt. I've been an editor on the wiki for about two and a half years now (since the start of the Miraheze wiki), and I have put in a LOT of hard work to get to where I am now. I've been editing constructively and in good faith, and while my attitude has been a little iffy over the past few months, I know I can continue to work on it and learn from my mistakes, especially when I am about to be working as an Administrator.
With that aside, I've done a large amount of changes to many articles to get it to current formatting standards. I've also combatted against vandals and trolls if I have the chance by undoing edits and suggesting page/file deletions. I've done a lot of constructive changes to the wiki's overall look and feel. I have nearly 2000 edits on this wiki, and with the work I've done recently, I feel I qualify to be an administrator.

:Wasn't this quite a ride? As a bit of background, prior to this huge round of drama that started with me and a few other admins being briefly demoted before Agent Isai of Miraheze's stewards stepped in, I was promoted to admin by Miraheze stewards in the absence of the Board of Directors after my Request for Adminship proved successful, this also being in the wake of a growing sockpuppet and other troublesome user problem. I've always wanted to join the admin team of the wiki to help out with these areas, and I have always dreamed of helping this wiki along in becoming a more welcoming and accepting place for editors who'll be able to have a say in the direction that this wiki goes, whether it be rule changes, rebrands, you name it, and not the oligarchic state the BoD brought that imposed rules on this community with no prior public communication with this wiki's community and also effectively attempted to censor any criticism of these decisions. I admittedly may not be proficient in the more techy side of MediaWiki, but I'm still hoping that I'll be able to help pull this wiki out of the state that it's been in under the BoD and help make this community feel safe and welcomed. I just looked on the old wiki server and found that the BoD were gone and that ENunn had rebranded it as his own personal server. I then decided to make a new one and with the help of a few others, the server was pretty much identical to the old one.
